East Peoria - Miriam L. Goetz, 99, of East Peoria, died at 2:55 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at her home.
She was born Nov. 5, 1910, in the home on the family farm in Groveland Township, Ill., to George and Sarah (Eller) Goetz.
Surviving are one nephew, David Bishop of Atlanta, Ill.; two great-nephews, Hans Bishop and Graham Bishop; and one great-niece, Kristin Bishop.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mildred Bishop and Ethel Goetz.
Miriam had worked 33 years as a dental assistant for Dr. Hoag in Peoria.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical United Methodist Church in Pekin.
