Bartonville - Virginia A. Williamson, 81, of Camdenton, Mo., formerly of Bartonville, died at 9:35 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Mo.
She was born March 9, 1928, in East Peoria to Albert and Gertrude (Henrichs) Stegmaier. She married Earl T. Williamson, Jr. on Dec. 23, 1946, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 2008. She also was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford “Kip” Stegmaier in 2007.
Surviving are one son, Terry (Carolyn) Williamson of Pewaukee, Wis.; three grandchildren, Stacy Williamson (Dennis Murray) of Prince Frederick, Md., Brett Williamson of Las Vegas, Nev., and Bart Williamson of Pewaukee, Wis.; one brother, Kenneth (Estella) Stegmaier of Peoria and one sister, Betty Unsicker of Morton.
Virginia worked 30 years for Games Sales in Peoria as a production manager, retiring in 1977.
She was a member of New Home Baptist Church in Camdenton, Mo. She also served as secretary-treasurer for the Grandview Heights Subdivision in Camdenton. She also was a member of TOPS Club in Camdenton, where she served as an officer.
