Morton - Inez L. Nelson, 62, of Morton, died at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born Aug. 9, 1947, in Peoria to Melvin “Shorty” and Wilma (Wood) Williamson. She married Leroy Nelson on Sept. 28, 1974, in Morton.
Surviving are her husband of Morton; three sons, Andrew Nelson of Morton, Seth (Samantha) Nelson of Peoria and Peter Nelson of Morton; two brothers, Timothy (Sonya) Williamson of Stockton, Ill., and Thomas Williamson of Morton; and five sisters, Norma (Rob) Dickson of Chenoa, Ill., Carol (Roger) Green of Keller, Texas, Jo Stauffer of Berne, Ind., Leah (Clark) Brumm of Lincoln, Neb., and Melody (Bruce) Meyer of Berne, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Betty.
Inez was a charter member of Grace Church in Morton.
Cremation will be accorded.
