Deer Creek - Norman F. Musselman, 72, of Deer Creek, died at 2:02 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born Feb. 12, 1937, in Peoria to Alvin and Marcella (Nullmeyer) Musselman. He married Eileen M. Joos on March 30, 1958, in Morton. Surviving are his wife, Eileen Musselman of Deer Creek; two sons, Gary (Judy) Musselman and Greg (Laura) Musselman, both of Deer Creek; one daughter, Jaci (Kenny) Lowery of Mackinaw; 12 grandchildren, Jenell, Jessica, Michele, Curt (Hannah), Dirk (Tiffany), Megan, Molly, Luke, Mitchel, Jake, Kyndra and Dane; one great-grandson, Quinton. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was an Army veteran. Norman was a bricklayer with Willis Knapp and Son Masonry in Congerville, retiring in 2000. He currently worked as a courier for Bell Enterprises of Deer Creek. He was a member of Goodfield Apostolic Christian Church and the Peoria local bricklayers union. He was a former school board member of Deer Creek-Mackinaw High School. Norman was his grandchildren’s biggest fan.
