Bloomington - Norma L. Gresham, 76, of Bloomington, died at 6:28 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, at her daughter’s home in Bloomington.
She was born Jan. 28, 1934, in Eureka to Tilman and Ethel (Holaway) Neuhauser. She married Byron Gresham on Aug. 5, 1961, in Roanoke. He preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 2006. She also was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are two children, Deborah K. (Phil) Ferguson of Bloomington and Denise A. (Mark) Tornberg of Charlotte, N.C.; four grandchildren, Megan and Morgan Ferguson, Jonathan and Matthew Tornberg; one great-grandson, D.J. Valens; two brothers, Dave (Linda) Neuhauser of Morton and Darrell (Sarah) Neuhauser of Eureka; and one sister, Darlene (Leonard) Mellinger of Sterling, Ill.
Norma worked as a nurse for 40 years in Eureka and Bloomington, retiring in 2007.
She was a member of Eastview Christian Church in Normal and the Illinois Nurses Association.
