East Peoria - Catherine J. Huette, 78, of East Peoria, died at 1:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton.
She was born Oct. 21, 1931, in East Peoria to Dan and Bessie (Frey) Huette.
Surviving are her brother-in-law, Norman Roth of East Peoria; one nephew, Jim (Theresa) Roth of Morton; one niece, Rebecca Roth of East Peoria; one great niece, Ashley (Nate) Himes; three great nephews, Ryan Kelson, Patrick Roth and Joseph Roth; and her aunt, Helen Harrmann of East Peoria.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Maxine Roth.
Catherine began employment at Interlocking Fence Co. after graduating from East Peoria Community High School, which later became Morton Buildings, working there until her retirement in 2008. She also worked part time for Roth Auction Service in East Peoria.
She was a member of First Mennonite Church and Kennel Lake Sportsman’s Club, both in Morton.
Catherine loved spending time with her great niece and nephews. She will be missed by her family and many friends.
Cremation will be accorded.
