Peoria - Richard Allan Becker, 70, of Peoria, formerly of Morton, died at 2:20 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, at Sharon Health Care in Peoria.
He was born May 15, 1939, in Peoria to Glenn R. and Kathryn L. (Hermann) Becker.
Surviving are two sisters, Joyce (Paul) Smits of Bellevue, Wash., and Jan (Rene’) Robert of San Ramon, Calif.; four nephews, Tyler (Lori) Smits of Kirkland, Wash.,Ryan (Christina) Smits of Seattle, Wash., Kyle (Jessica) Smits of Baltimore, Md., and Brett Robert of Santa Rosa, Calif.; one niece, Nicole (Che) Horder of Superior, Colo.; two great nieces; and two great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Richard grew up in Morton and attended Morton schools. He had resided at Sharon Health Care in Peoria since 1983.
He was a member of Community United Church of Christ in Morton.
