Pekin - Mildred E. Koehler, 83, of Pekin, formerly of Morton, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at Pekin Manor surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 5, 1926, in Secor to Christian and Amelia (Sprehe) Jording. She married Robert W. Koehler on Dec. 9, 1945, in Secor.
Surviving are her husband of Pekin; one son, Tom (Diana) Koehler of Warrensburg, Ill.; three daughters, Linda Sue Nelms of Pekin, Janet (Joe) Hall and Nancy Stephens, both of Morton; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her son-in-law, Glen Nordholm of Decatur; and one brother, Leroy Jording of Secor.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Dinah Nordholm on April 1, 1996, and six brothers, Alvin, Walter, Paul, Wilhart, Ben and Elmer Jording.
Mildred attended Grace Church in Morton.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.
