Morton - Mildred A. Geason, 95, of Morton, died at 7:42 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at her home.
She was born Jan. 18, 1915, in Los Angeles, Calif. She married Francis L. Geason on July 2, 1931, in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 1994. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Michael Geason; one daughter, Mary Parker; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; two brothers and six sisters.
Surviving are five daughters, Patricia (Richard) Hautala of East Peoria, Marlene (James) Clark of Cincinnati, Ohio, Barbara Innis of Pekin, Sue Houle of Destin, Fla., and Martha (Donald) Hays of Pekin; one daughter-in-law, Loretta Geason of East Peoria; one son-in-law, William Parker of Peoria; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Mildred had worked as a cook for Morton High School for eight years.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton and its Altar & Rosary Society.
