Obituary:
Morton - Roseann Warner, 73, of Morton, passed away at 10 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2010, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She passed from this life to eternal life surrounded by family and loved by many in her final hours. She was born Sept. 24, 1936, in Peoria to James Edwin “Bud” and Catherine (DeYoung) Roberts. She married George “Tim” Warner on Nov. 18, 1961, in Peoria. Surviving are her loving friend and husband of Morton; her children, Tim (Karen) Warner of Valparaiso, Ind., Jeff (Cheryl) Warner of Wauwatosa, Wis., Melissa (Mike) Kraft of Morton and Matt (Cindy) Warner of East Peoria; 12 grandchildren, Adam, Emma, Joey, Annie, Cooper, Mary, Claire, Callie, Eileen, Lucy, Casey and Maggie; her sister, Margaret Fall of Atlanta, Mich.; four loving nieces; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Roseann graduated from the Academy of Our Lady High School and worked at Caterpillar before embarking on a career of motherhood and grand-mothering. She was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton, serving as a Eucharistic minister and was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. Roseann enjoyed spending time with her family, taking vacations, traveling and cooking elaborate Sunday family dinners. The family thanks the wonderful nursing staff for their loving care in the cancer care unit at OSF St. Francis.
