Obituary:
Morton - Paul F. Everts, 25, of Morton, passed away in his sleep from natural causes on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, in Naples, Fla. He was born Feb. 28, 1985, in Peoria to Robert “Bob” and Ginette (Scuderi) Everts. Surviving are his parents of Morton; sisters, Angela (Ron) Timmons of Champaign and Raeanne Everts of Atlanta, Ga.; nephew and niece, Tyler and Emerson Timmons, both of Champaign; his paternal grandparents, Gene and Arlene Everts of Mokena, Ill.; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Cuzzo of Beecher, Ill.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather. He attended Morton schools and graduated from Morton High School in 2003, where he was a member of the tennis team. He went on to attend Bradley University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Entrepreneurship. Paul was a vibrant, young man with a passion for life. He was an outdoors enthusiast and he especially enjoyed tennis, fishing and kayaking. For the last six months, Paul resided in Naples, Fla., where he was the Tennis Coordinator for the Naples Beach Hotel and Resort. He attended Catholic Church in Naples. Among other things, Paul loved The Beatles and the Kansas Jayhawks. Board games and cards brought a smile to his face, along with a competitive, yet playful spirit. To those who knew him best, Paul will be remembered for his wit, infectious sense of humor, integrity, commitment to living a spiritual life, and the devotion he had for his family and friends. Paul was a beloved son, brother and uncle that will be dearly missed. We love you and we will miss you Paulie!
